Southern Colonial Wedding Inspiration at Homestead Manor | Nashville Wedding Photographers
Re-sharing these images from last year's Southern Colonial styled shoot at Homestead Manor because, well just because I love them so much!
With planner Adriel Nutter, we used the classic blue china pattern as a jumping off point for the concept. I really like the subtle blue touches throughout. Designs in Paper added blue envelope liners and blue-themed U.S. postage stamps to the invitations. Adriel created a gorgeous tablescape featuring Colonial-blue china and centerpieces from Lily Lane Vintage Rentals. And that monogram on the linens just takes it right over the top. Owsley Design also added a pop of blue hydrangea to the floral design.
The shoot’s location tied it all together nicely. Homestead Manor in Thompson Station dates back all the way to 1887. That’s not quite Colonial times but it is one of the oldest, standing historic Confederate homes in Tennessee. The classic white columns of the main house and charming grounds served as a perfect backdrop.
